Whenever a we publish a new post and add a new page in website it will not immediately index in search engine, it will takes many hours or sometimes many days. It is possible to immediately crawl your page and index in search engine. For that webmaster's use a "Fetch as Google Tool". Let's go and look at what is Fetch as Google Tool and how to use it.
Fetch as Google Tool :
- To submit updated content and
- To submit new page and new post and
- To submit new or updated URL's for index it
Whenever you submit a new page or new post in this way at that time googlebot crawl a updated content and index it within few hours.
How to Use It :
- First go to Webmaster Tool Home Page and sign in with google account
- If you did not add a site then add a site and verify using any methods. If already added then directly go to next step
- After that in dashboard at left side go to Crawl < Fetch as Google
- You will see your site or blog URL and following that a text field
- In text field enter your new page URL or new post URL or updated URL, just like below
- If successful in fetching URL, just click on Submit to Index option, just like below
- Next you will see a pop window with option "Crawl only this URL" and "Crawl this URL and its direct links", just select "Crawl only this URL" option and click on Go button
- Now your URL has been successfully submitted for indexing.
- After waiting some time search your submitted URL in google, i hope your new page will be appeared in search result.
