Remove Shortcuts Virus From PC

In computer there are many types of viruses and malwares are available which are unable to find and see. One of the type is Shortcut, with this all of you are familiar. 

When we surfing on net or downloading some file, when transfer file from one PC to another and we send something to pen-drive at that time shortcut is created with name same as original file name. If you try to open them then it will harm your computer and slow down OS.

There are lots of tricks and software available to remove shortcuts, but i will tell something new which you will heard first time. So let's start to free our PC from shortcuts.

• First Method :

1. If any shortcuts files in any drive then
2. Just type ' . ' (dot) search bar in that drive
3. Now you will see all original files and full path of files without any shortcuts files
4. Now click on any file it will definitely open

This trick personally tested by me and it's working perfectly for me. I hope you can also free from burden of shortcuts.

• Second Method :

Note : Try this method on your responsibility, if  anything is wrong then i am not responsible for that.

1. First open Run Box by pressing "Windows + R" 
2. Then type "Regedit" and open Registry Editor
3. Next click on "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT" and find this folder ".lnk", just delete it
4. I hope you will get satisfaction from removing shortcuts

• Third Method :

1. Go to windows and search Command Prompt and run as administrative (Important)
2. Now write this command "attrib -h -s -r -a /s /d Name_drive:*.*"
3. Next replace Name_drive with your drive letter where has shortcut files, like this "attrib -h -s -r -a /s /d e:*.*"
4. Click on enter button and go to drive you will see shortcut files will be in original files form.

How to Connect Two PC with WiFi

WiFi hotspot is basically a network but a shared network or public network, with this anyone can access it. But this is not that network which we are using daily (internet), you can say it is public network or private network based on authentication.

When one PC user create a WiFi hotspot, PC will range in this network can see it and that can also able to connect with this network. After connecting second PC can see public folder and public item of first PC.

Today in android Xender and Flash Transfer is hugely used for app sharing. This apps use a Bluetooth network where in PC uses a WiFi network. So let's Create a WiFi hotspot and start a sharing.

1. Turn on WiFi Network
2. Go to Windows < Search Command Promt < Run as Administrative (Important)
3. Next type this code in Command Prompt "netsh wlan show drivers", it will display your WiFi driver name, it's version, vender, date etc... and many more things jusk like below
   
4. Now main part, type this code "netsh wlan set hostednetwork  mode=allow ssid=abc  key =1234567890" where SSID is your hotspot name and KEY is the WiFi key (You can also set with own values)
   
5. Above code will create a hotspot, to start a hotspot write this code "netsh wlan start hostednetwork"
   
6. Now your hotspot is starting, PC in range of this hotspot can see your network and able to connect with your PC. Now share your folder and file with friends.
7. After work is done you can stop this hotspot with this code "netsh wlan stop hostednetwork"
   

This method is very easy and simple, just copy all above code and pasteit in noteped and save as .txt file. In this way you can connect two PC's with WiFi. If you like this post then share with your friends.

Hide a Drive In Windows 8 Without Any Software

Many Windows user has some private and personal data store in drive and they try to protect this data from unauthorized user. In web there are lots of software available for hide a drive, one of this software which i have used is AOMEI Partition Software. Using this software you can also hide a drive. This software run very well in Windows 7 edition. But not very well running in windows 8 edition.

So here i will come with new trick to hide a windows drive. So let's start, follow below step :

1. On Desktop right click on My Computer and select Manage Option.
2. New Window will be open, in left side bar select option for "Disk Management", just like a below 
   
3. Now right click on drive that you want to hide
4. Select "Change Drive Letter and Path" option, new small window will be open just like below
   
    
5. Just click on "Remove" button, That's it now your drive is hide
   
6. For Unhide a drive again follow first two step
7. Right Click on drive which is Hide < Select "Change Drive Letter and Path" < Click on "Add" button < In new small Confirmation Window select "OK" button
   
8. Now your drive is Unhide, just check it by opening My Computer (If not see just Refresh)

You can also chage letter of your windows drive by Click on "Change" buttton of small window in step 5 or step 7.
